On Day 2 of RWEF 2011, the first important subject was “Financing wind farms”, chaired by Adelina Ciresaru, partner from IMA Partners,and participants: Mihnea Craciun, Principal Banker Power and Energy from EBRD, Gabriel Mihai – Director Corporate Finance Department , UniCredit , Ioana Gheorghiade, Director Project Finance Departament, BCR, Iuliana Tiba, Structured finance Director, BRD – Groupe Société Générale, took into disscution the experience of E-RES Finance in Eastern Europe and the commitment of the banks to support wind industry in Romania.
The second pannel, chaired by Ion Lungu from CEZ Trade, focused on “market and grid integration”. Athanasia Arapogianni, research officer of EWEA, Gherghina Vladescu – Head of Office Certificates Trading Department OPCOM, and representatives of both EGL and Transelectrica discussed about costs of wind electricity and green certificates market.
The third and last pannel of disscutions regarded Logistics and O&M and was chaired by Sebastian Enache from Wind Power Energy, part of Monsson Group. Accompanied by specialists from companies like Suszi Industrial or UTi, the highlight of this last debate leant towards technologies and transport of the turbines.
